•Gustav Reactions Chem
McCain and Palin are going to Mississippi to monitor FEMA operations.
They are talking with the governors of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi,
and Louisiana to deal with the impending devastation of Hurricane
Gustav.
Obama and Biden were contacted about going down there to monitor
FEMA operations. They declined, citing that they don't want to get in the
way.
So if Obama were president, and there was a huge natural disaster
impending, he'd feel that going there would get in the way?
I guess Obama would rather win an election by stumping through
Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania during a crisis than go and learn
something about it than learn about how to deal with a national crisis.
•"A woman's voice needs to be heard." Our own Lynn Tulumello was interviewed for this piece
Lynn Z. Tulumello, on vowing to vote for Sen. John McCain because
of his vice presidential choice. "I could not vote for a Republican if
someone held a gun to my head." Mary Ann Ciminesi, on whether
putting Sarah Palin on the GOP ticket will influence her vote.
When John McCain announced that he had picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin
as his running mate, Lynn Z. Tulumello, a Democrat and ardent supporter
of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, burst into tears — of joy.
"A woman's voice needs to be heard," said the 47-year-old South Buffalo
mother of two daughters, vowing to vote for McCain over her party's
nominee in November.
[snip]
"I don't like the idea of Hillary having to step aside," said Tulumello, who
counts herself among those who refuse to vote for Obama.
During the Democratic Convention, Tulumello said she found herself
agitated and angry that Clinton did not get the nomination.
"It was eating away at me," she said.
She says the Democratic Party takes women voters for granted, adding
that "they need to know that we are not going to stand around and step
aside."
She also described herself as tired of the Democratic Party "holding Roe v.
Wade over our heads." Most of the country supports abortion rights and,
therefore, wouldn't allow abortion to be banned, she argued.

•Rasmussen: NO convention BOUNCE for Obama H2
Yes, the Gallup daily tracking poll has Obama up eight points, BUT the Rasmussen poll does NOT.
The Rasmussen poll has Obama up only three points -- and this tracking includes all the convention speeches, including The Precious One's at the Roman temple set built by Brittany Spears' set designer.
So, Britney Spears and Barky Obama have much in common -- the crowds they attract (and why), their superficiality, and the set designer they both use.
Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll - August 31, 2008
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday -- the day before the Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin -- shows Barack Obama ahead of John McCain by three percentage points both with and without leaners. That's exactly the same edge Obama enjoyed a week ago on the eve of the Democratic National Convention.
[NOTE: In other words: there was NO BOUNCE for Obama from his conventions frolics.]
Today's numbers show a one-point improvement for McCain, but Obama still leads 47% to 44%. When "leaners" are included, it's Obama 49%, McCain 46% (see recent daily results). Obama is now viewed favorably by 57% of the nation's voters, McCain by 56%. Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.
There have been significant changes in perception of John McCain in the two days of polling since he named Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. Since then, 49% of Republicans voice a Very Favorable opinion of McCain. That's UP SIX percentage points from 43% just before the announcement. Also, 64% of unaffiliated voters now give positive reviews to McCain, UP ten points since naming his running mate.
There has been little change in perceptions of Obama since his Thursday night speech and the Palin announcement.
Palin herself made a good first impression and is now viewed favorably by 53% of voters nationwide. Her counterpart, Joe Biden, is viewed favorably by 48%. While Palin has made a good first impression, the more significant numbers will come a week from now after the nation has a chance to learn more about her

•NObama's coronation threw away thousands of American Flags
The Denver Convention was supposed to be about "recycling" --- and
yet, Obama's staff threw thousands of American flags into the
garbage. We can make a list of all the things Obama could have done
with these flags instead of throwing them away:
(1) Planting these
flags in local Colorado cemetaries on the graves of veterans
(2) Decorating the lawns of VFW Halls
(3) Donating the flags to local schools, hospitals, nursing homes,
boy scout troops, etc. for use during the next American holiday
(4) Sending the flags to American military bases for homecoming
ceremonies for our troops -- so their family members could waive
these flags in excitement as they welcomed their sons, daughters,
husbands, and wives back from active duty
Every day I am more and more proud to be a Democrat supporting John
McCain and Sarah Palin.

•McCain raises $7,000,000 since announcing Sarah Palin Matthew Mosk
Sen. John McCain has taken in $7 million in contributions since announcing Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, a top campaign aide said today.
The money bounce may owe to Palin’s appeal with conservative donors, many of whom said privately they had planned on sitting out the campaign this year. The money comes in just under the wire — after McCain accepts the GOP nomination Thursday, he will accept public funds and no longer be permitted to raise private money for the campaign.

•The Chicago Annenberg Challenge records H2 & Steve Diamond-Global Labor and Politics
More of the "Annenberg Challenge" documents have been released for public viewing since this
article was written on Aug. 20, 2008 -- the "Annenberg Challenge" documents HAD been sealed
off from public scrutiny until Obama was safely in as the Democratic Part nominee, and it was
too late to dislodge him.
The CAC [Chicago Annenberg Challenge] also funded a
third arm, the Consortium of Chicago School Research
(CCSR), in parallel with the two operational arms, the Board
and the Collaborative. This arm was to conduct research on
the impact of the CAC's [ $150 million ] funding.
In 2003 the final technical report of the CCSR on the CAC was
published. The results were NOT pretty. The "bottom line"
according to the report was that the CAC did NOT achieve
its goal of improvement in student academic achievement
and nonacademic outcomes. While student test scores
improved in the so-called Annenberg Schools that received
some of the $150 million disbursed in the six years from 1995
to 2001.
"This was similar to improvement across the
system….There were NO statistically significant
differences in student achievement between Annenberg
schools and demographically similar NON-Annenberg
schools. This indicates that there was NO Annenberg effect
on achievement."
Bill Ayers (the unrepentant domestic bomb-planting terrorist) was a founder of this multi-million
dollar boondoggle (the Chicago Annenberg Challenge), and Bill Ayers made Barack Obama
president of the board of directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
Despite having millions upon millions of dollars given to them to improve the Chicago public
schools, the Obama-Ayers project was an UTTER FAILURE.
So, tell me again:
(1) what are Obama's "accomplishments" that indicate in ANY way that he is ready to be
president of the United States -- the most powerful job in the world?
(2) how can it be that (as Obama claims) Bill Ayers was "just some guy in the neighborhood,"
when they worked together on this and many other projects FOR YEARS and Obama announced
his Illinois senate candidacy from the living room of Bill Ayers' house?
I wish any Obama supporter could enumerate for me any of Obama's real and actual
"accomplishments."
As of Aug. 20, 2008, the University of Illinois was still blocking access to the
records of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an Illinois non-profit
corporation Bill Ayers co-founded in 1995.
After great pressure, the University of Illinois finally, on Aug. 27, 2008,
released the documents. It will take a few more days before the
corruption revealed in those documents is reported to the public.
It's too late for the Democrats now to save the Democratic Party, but it'll
be open season for the Republicans who (we can be certain) will use
whatever corruption they find in these Annenberg Challenge documents.
How much of the Annenberg Challenge funds made their way to political
friends of Obama and Bill Ayers?
The $150 million Chicago Annenberg Challenge was an utter failure as far as the Chicago public
schools were concerned -- but probably did great service to Barack Obama's political career. [ More - Global Labor ]
•Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's remarks at Stephanie Tubbs Jones funeral
Former President Bill Clinton also speaks at the memorial service for Stephanie Tubbs Jones
Some excerpts:
"Stephanie opened our hearts."
"The mayor [Frank Jackson] said she was not a fair-weather friend. I certainly know what that means."
"When she was your friend. . .she felt it was her responsibility to inform you of all the matters that needed improvement."
About traveling with her husband, former President Bill Clinton: She "was one of the few people who actually defeated him in cards, for which I was very grateful to her."
"To her sister Barbara and her wonderful son, Mervyn: Words, no matter how eloquent, cannot fill the empty space in your heart."
"Oftentimes, late at night on the campaign trail, whether the news was good nor bad. . .she would grab my hand and say, 'I miss my husband.' . . They are together now."

•Guest Poster - Katherine Carr - IN
In South Dakota, Hillary won and not one super delegate gave her his vote. In
Indiana 8 out of 9 congressional districts picked Clinton, yet seven of these men
picked Obama while one remained neutral for a little while. Hillary won Indiana and
the delegates, but didn't get the delegates. In Texas and New Mexico and other
states Hillary won but they stole it from her. This is true in many of the states
he "claims to have won". Is that how he plans try to cheat in November? I don't
believe the Republicans are that dumb.
As for Biden, that is Obama doubletalking and flipflopping again. He said 'no
Washington insiders' and you can't get more insider than Biden, who has made more
deals and voted for the Iraq war. Of course, Obama would have voted for the Iraq
War if he were in the Senate at that time. He wasn't in very long. The list of bad
things Obama did and his omissions in Illinois are just as bad as his short record
in Washington. Just signing onto and voting for a bill does not make it yours.
Especially if it wasn't your idea to begin with and I don't believe Obama has had an
original thought in his 20 years of politics in Illinois and his very, very short
time in Washington before he ran for President.
Obama lies about everything. He said he wouldn't raise taxes, but he now says he
will, especially payroll taxes.
Obama used racism and sexism to beat Hillary and now he claims he didn't. But I
heard and so did everyone else. People don't seem to care what he says or does,
only how he appears to do or say or look.

•Attention other blogs/groups - watch out for this troll Michael P. Fagan - mpfagan1@bellsouth.net
He WAS a member of our email group, till he announced to the group he had been checking all our IP numbers and doing background research on us.
He claims to be National Coordinator of the USDemocrat Network, whatever the hell that is.
Here's what he announced today--
I have been monitoring this group for many months now and one thing is
VERY clear. More than 10% of the email addresses on this group have
been traced back to REPUBLICAN operatives in the REPUBLICAN internet
center. Their purpose here is to spread discourse in the democratic
ranks and to beat the drums against Obama in order to get McCain
elected.
We have a membership committee which tracks
TCP/IP originating addresses in order to keep republicans out of our
network. I had the membership committee trace a hundred or so of the
most frequent posters to this group and found that more than half of
the most vocal posters on this group were traced back to TCP/IP
locations and addresses of REPUBLICAN operatives.
The group we run is open to ANYONE opposed to NObama. We don't ask that you be a registered Democrat. So Republicans against NObama are welcome. But this scummy troll took it upon himself to spy on us, track our IP addresses, all the while never ever posting until today.
He has been tossed and banned.
So be on the lookout for this troll, because he WILL trace your IP address and see if you are an enemy of the DNC.

•Obama's gangsta grab for supreme power H2
I've done a lot of reading, over the years, about Germany in the 1930s, Hitler's rise to power and
Hitler's use of imagery to consolidate his power and pull people into his web of evil.
I must tell you there are frightening resemblances to Obama's use of thuggery and grandiosity
(boastful self-importance or display) to grab power, and his use of grandiose settings to
convince people he IS something wonderful.
Hitler (as does Obama) persistently made promises he had no intention of keeping -- just recall
Obama's FISA vote that assured him support (and money) from the telecom giants ... Obama
voted to spare the telecoms from lawsuits over their warrantless wiretapping of Americans in
America.
(AT&T's logo is all over the place at the Democratic convention ... AT&T is pleased with Obama
and the DNC leaders. Does that make any of us happy?)
Hitler (as does Obama) loved to use grandiose sets and settings for his self-worshiping
celebrations of his wonderfulness.
Obama scares me greatly ... and with a Congress in the control of the same Democrats who
shoe-horned Obama into the nomination ... and a fawning press corps and TV talking heads
slobbering all over themselves to see who can praise Obama the most and damn his rivals the
most ... Obama would have unchecked and un-scrutinized dictatorial powers unseen in any
civilized society since 1930s Germany.
I would far rather take my chances with the Republican McCain (I can scarcely believe I have
been driven to feel this way), because he would be forced by the Democratic-controlled Congress
to compromise on all major issues and appointments ... and McCain would constantly and
aggressively be criticized by the media people because of their rage that Their Precious Boy
hadn't won the election.
For us Democrats, progressives, and other leftists who have been supporting Hillary, there are
only two choices now: (1) an Obama with unchecked power (courtesy of the obsequious
Democratic leaders in Congress, and a fawning media) or (2) a McCain whose power WOULD be
checked and hampered by a Democratic-controlled Congress and a press corps that no longer
loves McCain and, in fact, would hate him for depriving The Precious One of The Precious One's
"rightful" throne.
The only question left is: Will Obama crown himself as Napoleon did ... and after he
crowns himself, will he place a crown on his wife's head (as Napoleon did)?
There is only ONE way to stop Obama's gangsta grab for supreme power, and that is NOT to
vote for him and to at least consider voting "for" John McCain
•Barackopolis H2
Obama's speechavaganza and the whole Obama campaign have been about the color of his skin.
But wasn't Martin Luther King's dream that someday we would measure a person NOT by the color of his
skin but by the content of his character.
Obama's speech and campaign are a perversion of Martin Luther King's life's work and message.
Yesterday was NOT, by any measure of the word, a "historic" or "important" day in
American history. It was an INSULT to Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy. Obama's rally
is one of the most infamous moments in this entire hemisphere's history, because it showcased
and highlighted the recent decline of American culture, and because it simultaneously exposed
the stupidity and pathetically self-serving desires of many people, to be man-handled by a nice
stage setup, shiny lights, and a Joseph Goebbels styled propaganda video, that sugar-coated
the background of the WORST candidate in the history of the United States.
The McCain ad about Obama resembling Britney Spears was right on the mark -- Obama even used
Britney Spear's set designer to design his (Obama's) Roman Empire set.
Obama would have us believe he is Caesar, but he is actually Nero.
Savage Politics
Yesterday we were treated to quite a show. We had a Greek Temple-like Stage Set, which was
supposed to resemble the White House and Lincoln Memorial, and which was built by Britney Spears
set designer Bobby Allen. After filling up 'his stadium' by handing out FREE TICKETS, FREE
AMERICAN FLAGS and FREE OBAMA BANNERS, they were then herded in to listen to a litany of
brain washing events that included countless Hollywood stars, from the still famous all the way to the
washed-up variety.
Reminiscent of the Nuremberg Rallies, which Adolf Hitler invented to emulate the Roman Triumphs,
thousands of people were naturally obliged by the atmosphere to mindlessly chant "Obama, Obama" and
"Yes We Can" in an irrational and ridiculous frenzy. But: What were they truly celebrating last night?
It CAN'T be the "first African American nominee" of a major party, since Obama is at best an interracial
man and at worst the offspring of White slave owners from Kansas and Muslim African traitors, who
actively participated with their Arab neighbors in raiding and pillaging Kenya's countryside. Obviously, and
as it should be generally known, both of these historical backgrounds are VERY FAR from the ethnic and
historic backdrop that actually makes a person an 'African American'. So: What were they celebrating last
night?
Were they reveling in the fact that there was finally an interracial candidate who, with the active help and
corruption of his WHITE handlers and puppet masters, has been able to steal, lie, and cheat into a major
political party's nomination? Was America celebrating the fact that the WHITE and CORPORATE
Mainstream Media has manipulated the public into believing the distorted propaganda of an unqualified
hustler from Chicago?
Did anyone in that horrid 'Temple of O'lympus' really remember what MLK's dream was really about? It
was definitely NOT about celebrating the first "Black" skinned man to steal a show and pimp his way into
the national stage. It was about going beyond these categorizations and actually doing something for other
people, IRRESPECTIVE of their skin color.
The mere fact that the Media and their pundits are applauding the teary eyed reaction of so many imbeciles
on the national stage, is eerily close to the adulation that many other men and women in the past gave to well
staged productions in Berlin, Moscow and Rome, all to the applause of the same people who eventually
ended up 'bayoneted' or 'gassed' for their praise.[ More - Savage Politics ]
•McCain chooses a woman as VP
John McCain has chosen Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate.
Choosing a woman is an obvious pitch to the Clinton supporters.
Palin made an unsuccessful bid for Lieutenant Governor, coming in second to Loren Leman in a four-way race. After Frank Murkowski resigned from his long-held U.S. Senate seat in mid-term to become governor, Palin interviewed to be his possible successor. Instead, Murkowski appointed his daughter, then-Alaska State Representative Lisa Murkowski.
Governor Murkowski appointed Palin Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, where she served from 2003 to 2004 until resigning in protest over what she called the "lack of ethics" of fellow Alaskan Republican leaders, who ignored her whistleblowing complaints of legal violations and conflicts of interest. After she resigned, she exposed the state Republican party's chairman, Randy Ruedrich, one of her fellow Oil & Gas commissioners, who was accused of doing work for the party on public time, and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail. Palin filed formal complaints against both Ruedrich and former Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes, who both resigned; Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.
Palin, running on a clean-government campaign, executed an upset victory over then-Gov. Murkowski in the Republican gubernatorial primary. Despite the lack of support from party leaders and being outspent by her Democratic opponent, she went on to win the general election in November 2006, defeating former Governor Tony Knowles. Palin said in 2006 that education, public safety, and transportation would be three cornerstones of her administration.
When elected, Palin became the first woman to be Alaska's governor, and the youngest governor in Alaskan history at 42 years old upon taking office. Palin was also the first Alaskan governor born after Alaska achieved U.S. statehood. She was also the first Alaskan governor not to be inaugurated in Juneau, instead choosing to hold her inauguration ceremony in Fairbanks. She took office on December 4, 2006.
Highlights of Governor Palin's tenure include a successful push for an ethics bill, and also shelving pork-barrel projects supported by fellow Republicans. Palin successfully killed the Bridge to Nowhere project that had become a nationwide symbol of wasteful earmark spending. "Alaska needs to be self-sufficient, she says, instead of relying heavily on 'federal dollars,' as the state does today."
She has challenged the state's Republican leaders, helping to launch a campaign by Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell to unseat U.S. Congressman Don Young and publicly challenging Senator Ted Stevens to come clean about the federal investigation into his financial dealings. Fred Barnes of The Weekly Standard praised Palin as a "politician of eye-popping integrity" and referred to her rise as "a great (and rare) story of how adherence to principle—especially to transparency and accountability in government—can produce political success."
In 2007, Palin had an approval rating often in the 90s. A poll published by Hays Research on July 28, 2008 showed Palin's approval rating at 80%.

•What would JFK say?
•BSNBC coming apart at the seams
DENVER — Amid a spate of awkward on-air conflicts among MNSBC anchors at this week’s Democratic convention, some staff members say there are sharp internal disputes at the cable network over whether its opinion and personality-driven political coverage has crossed the line.
“The situation at our channel is about to blow up,” a high-ranking MSNBC journalist told Politico on Wednesday.
Two other MSNBC sources said some of the testy on-air exchanges between Keith Olbermann — whose quick-witted and often caustic commentary has fueled ratings growth — and other network personalities were a public glimpse of much more intense behind-the-scenes turmoil.
[snip]
In addition to Olbermann, MSNBC personalities Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough and David Shuster were involved in Denver controversies.
On Monday evening, Olbermann interrupted Scarborough while he was talking about McCain being competitive in the polls. “Jesus, Joe, why don’t you get a shovel?” Olbermann remarked.
On “Morning Joe” the following day, a clearly agitated Scarborough went off on Shuster during a discussion of Iraq, which quickly devolved over several cringe-worthy minutes into personal attacks, such as Scarborough telling the world how his colleague missed the show three times by oversleeping. "Are you Rip Van Shuster?” Scarborough asked. “Have you been sleeping for the past couple of months?”
But Scarborough, a former Republican congressman from Florida, became enraged when Shuster made a reference to “your party.” Asked by Scarborough what his party was, Shuster said he was an “independent.”
"I feel so comforted by the fact that you're an independent,” Scarborough said, in a mocking tone. “I bet everybody at MSNBC has independent on their voting cards. Oh, we're down the middle now.” (Shuster left the set, but returned later to hug it out, "Entourage"-style.)
That night, Scarborough told NPR that he “get[s] frustrated by people who have an obvious partisan bias that don't proclaim that bias.”
[Ed. Note: FIRE Matthews and Olberjerk. They have NO credibility and continuously show their bias ad nauseum and cannot hide their hatred for the Clintons. •The incredible AUDACITY and DISRESPECT! Bill Clinton didn't deserve it
According to CNN, they asked the Obama camp why they didn't hand out Clinton signs for Bill's speech
and an
Obama campaign official said that Bill "didn't earn it."
Oh how I am trying to keep my anger and loathsome opinion of these thugs under control.
The arrogance, disrespect and sheer gangsta attitude of this crowd makes my skin crawl and makes me
want to hurl.
How DARE this know nothing piece of CRAP treat a 2 term wildly successful and popular president in such
a disgusting and sickening manner. Just WHO the HELL does he think he is anyway? Does ANYONE
around him have the balls to tell him he's way out of bounds, a legend in his own mind and just plain
shitty?
While I am disappointed, angered and frustrated by Bill and Hillary giving speeches which included
out-and-out LIES like "NObama is prepared to be president" and "NObama is ready", I can see why they
did it. We ALL know they don't mean a word of it. But NObama isn't man enough or qualified enough to
shine Bill's shoes or even sit in a chair Bill sat in. Does this incredibly conceited and arrogant schmuck
KNOW that Bill presided over the greatest period of prosperity and peace this country has ever known?
More jobs created, more people off welfare, fixed the outrageous debt left behind by Poppy Bush, and
left office with a HUGE surplus? He IS the greatest President of the 20th century, outside of FDR. How
dare this creep insult Bill in such a way? He didn't EARN it? Why because he didn't get down on his
knees in front of Plastic Jesus and give praise?
Which brings up another subject. Can ANYONE explain to me just WHY the worst candidate for
President in the history of the Democratic party, the weakest, the most incompetent, underhanded,
ill experienced, divisive and
the most dishonest, that the Democratic Party has ever offered is under some delusion that he is
somehow BETTER than Bill Clinton or he resembles ANYTHING about JFK? WHY are people believing this
horseshit?
Obamamorons need to wake the hell up and read, and stop watching sycophant morons like MSNBC,
and LEARN this fool is a liar, is a racist, has no experience and all this overboard adoration is not
deserved. He sets himself up on a Greek temple-like stage as if he's Zeus or some all knowing all
powerful force. He's NOTHING, he's lower than nothing.
I was a Democrat for all of my adult life, always voted Dem, no matter what. But this whole election
cycle has gotten me to the point where I loathe them. Coward Dean, Queen Racist Brazilenut, spineless
worm Reid, Wicked Witch of the Congress Pelosi. I am ashamed to ever admit I was a Democrat, they
have stolen and hijacked our party and handed it over to a bunch of thugs from Chicago, who cheat and
lie their way to the top.
Someone suggested that the reason they are all so fanatical about this con artist is because he is
half-black. The DNC is desperate to appear oh so cool and PC by nominating a black man, and everyone
else is just afraid/terrified of looking racist if they don't support him. THAT is why NObama keeps using
the race card over and over and over and over and over. Because he knows the second he brings up
race, everyone shuts up and cowers in a corner; terrified they will be labeled a racist. I'll come right out
and say it. WHO GIVE A RATS ASS IF HE'S BLACK. I don't care WHAT color he is; he would still be
ill experienced, a liar, a racist, arrogant to the point of nausea, and simply unqualified and incompetent.
If NObama was white, he would LONG LONG ago been forgotten. All these liberals, wanting so badly to
be PC and wanting so badly to say they support a black man, cannot see the forest for the trees. They
ignore all else, because he is black.
If you care at all about this country, you must vote McCain. No 'protest' votes for Nader or staying
home. You must get out there and vote for McCain and send this thug back to Chicago to become a
footnote in history.
•Did something I have NEVER done Clintonian
I turned Bill Clinton off.
He is my hero, I'd watch and listen to him read the phone book.
But listening to him at the CONvention say things like "NObama is ready to be president" and 'that makes 18 million of us", I was absolutely sickened and so disappointed.
I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams what the crooked DNC said to make him say such things, when we KNOW he doesn't believe it or mean it.
But to see my hero, the best president this country had since FDR, capitulate and go along with this dog and pony show, breaks my heart.
But I'm glad I put it on. Because it made me madder than hell. I hadn't watched one minute of it up till now. But now I'm glad. To see this sycophant crowd, all lap dogs, to see Obamarosa sitting there, gritting her teeth so hard she could shatter steel with her jaw, to see Hillary sitting way up top, to see this rather motley looking crowd on the floor. ALL it has done is strengthen my resolve to do absolutely everything I can to make sure this lying, cheating, racist criminally-tied non-citizen ever ever gets elected. Not even The Big Dawg could convince me.
Bill, where have you gone? They're putting you out to pasture, Bill, and this is an awful way to see you go. This version of the DNC is disgusting and appalling. They have no respect for a wildly popular and successful president; they are using him to push forward a know nothing megalomaniac.

•Obama Campaign Cancels Invesco Field!! Moving entire production to Beijing’s Bird Nest Stadium
NO QUARTER - TOO good not to re post
Associalist Press August 26, 2008
15000 Chinese Performers have been called back to re-imagine the
Olympic opening Ceremony as an homage to Obama’s amazing Life
story. The Obama campaign is in full on marathon mode at the moment
trying to get it all done.
Tenative Schedule of set pieces:
The Liberation of Auschwitz - complete with Bungee Jumping
Paratroopers featuring Uncle Frank Parachuting in at the finale of the
piece, 200,000 Goose-stepping Germans, and lots of skinny people.
The March on Selma - The Phillipines prisoners in their now famous
orange jumpsuits have been recruited to do their Thriller performance
as they march around the stadium. Stand ins for Obama’s parents will
do their portion of the march around the top of the stadium along the
screens just like the torch lighting.
The Birth of a messiah - A manger set being flown in from Jeruselem
will be digital enhanced with hay, a goat, and donkeys. Dean, Pelosi
and Brazile will be playing the part of the three wise men. Rezko, who
is being released for this special event only, will play Mary and Ayers
will play Joseph as Obama’s Political Godmother and Father. A
gigantic “O” will appear at center stage from which a Unity Pony with
Wings will leap forth at the climax of this set piece ridden by Emil
Jones who will Yell out “I Made Me a President!”
Arrival of the One - Matrix directors the Wachowski Brothers and
James Cameron will create an all new set piece using the latest digital
effects to recreate the epic battle of Neo vs Agent Smith on the Titanic.
Agent smith will be played by a pantsuit wearing middle aged bitter
woman. Neo will be played by Will Smith.
The Speech - The stadium floor will fill with water prior to the
beginning of the speech. Obama will rise atop a rock in the middle of the
man made sea. Then, more hopey dopey change you can believe in. At
the moment of the speech when he says this is the moment, the seas
begin to slow their rize, a massive hydroelectric set peice will recreate
the Charlton Heston parting of the red sea.
The Ascension - A massive pyro technic light show culminating in a
series of seemingly suspended in thin air steps will appear as Obama
climbs them to a platform high above the stadium floor where he will
fit himself to a harness lowered from an unseen helicopter hovering
high above. Then he will ascend into the clouds as Barbra Striesand
and Donna Summer in a show of racial harmony sing “Enough is
Enough.”
Anonymous Obama campaign official says they have contacted Michael
Phelps to see if he would let Obama wear his 8 gold medals during his
speech. So far Phelps has not responded to the request.

A police official later told lawyers for ABC News that Eslocker is being
charged with trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order.
He also said the arrest followed a signed complaint from the Brown Palace

Eslocker was put in handcuffs and loaded in the back of a police van
which headed for a nearby police station.

•FULL roll call?
Reports from FOX News and Rocky Mountain News that the Obama campaign has oh so graciously
decided that a full roll call will be held.
DON'T BE FOOLED!
Precious and his cult have reviewed the secret ballots and NOW see that they have bullied and
terrorized enough delegates to vote for hm to win, so NOW he will allow the ACTUAL WINNER to have
her name put in nomination.
How the HELL is this legal? How the HELL does this coincide with DNC rules IF there are ANY? How is it
that far less worthy candidates over time, like DEAN HIMSELF, had had a fiull roll call without any cloak
and dagger secret ballots? But Hillary Clinton is not allowed to have a legitimate roll call, only one that
has guns pointed at the heads of Clinton deleagtes, only one that made delegates vote by secret ballot
at breakfast Wednesday.
Barky, your true colors are vivid and bright for all to see. A giant YELLOW streak right down the middle
of your back, you spineless worm.
•Bill Clinton: consider this...
He said: "Suppose you're a voter, and you've got candidate X and
candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don't
think that candidate can deliver on anything at all. Candidate Y you
agree with on about half the issues, but he can deliver. Which
candidate are you going to vote for?"
•Hillary Laura
Tonight Hillary gave one of the most brilliant speeches yet. Equal to any that her husband has given. Far better and more REAL than anything Obama has ever given. She rises to every occasion. Always has. Always will. She's my girl!
But Hillary can't win this election for Obama. He has to win it by himself for himself. If he is to become the leader of the free world, he must first lead.
It's like a guy who is courting a woman and has all his friends and family and her family tell her what a wonderful husband he would make and how she should marry him. He sends one emissary after another while sitting and watching events transpire from a safe, comfortable distance, waiting for success to come to him, to be served on the "silver" platter. But he doesn't want to take the time to get up off his ass, go to her, look her in the eye and tell her "this is who I am, this is what I believe, this is what I want in life, and I want to share it with you and have you as a partner by my side. Will you marry me?" Until he is willing to do that, nothing anyone else says matters.
Obama can't close the deal because he doesn't want to look into our eyes and tell us who he is and what he believes in and what he wants for us. He can tell us what he wants for himself. But he can't say what he wants FOR us, that is not on his agenda, what he wants FROM us is -- our vote, because that is his stepping stone to power. But votes have to be earned. You only earn them by humbly asking for them and promising to deliver on an agreed agenda. There is no other way to get our vote.
What is his agenda? His agenda is to obtain power. Ours is to make a better country and a better life for ourselves and our children. There is a difference with a distinction here. And he knows it will show if he tries to fake it. That's why he still can't close the deal.
He is expecting Hillary and Bill and Biden and all his surrogates to win our votes for him, but he must win them for himself. Surrogates can reinforce what is already there or lay the groundwork for what is to come, but Obama must close the deal himself. He must lead.
Hillary gave one of the most brilliant speeches yet. She was presidential. She was committed. She was selfless. And she was leading us, as her followers and supporters, to commit ourselves to our common goals, or what she believes is Obama's common goals with her and us. The problem remains that I'm not convinced yet. I'm not convinced Obama really cares about me and my life. I'm not convinced that Obama wants the same thing for our country that I do. I just can't believe yet, not in him. I really, truly wish I could.
I believe in Hillary. I believe in her motives and her agenda. And I believe that Hillary believes. But I just don't believe in Obama. Not now. Maybe not ever.
The most touching part of the speech came after it was over, when Suzanne Malveaux of CNN interviewed a black woman, a Hillary supporter. She had tears in her eyes. She was fighting not to lose the battle with her emotions and break down. She said all the things all of us Hillary supporters have been feeling. She remarked how Hillary was so presidential. It was so obvious and real. Hillary had experience. Hillary could have made all of our dreams happen. But she said several times emphatically that she would not vote for McCain. She also added: "Would you given a Harvard graduate a position of CEO right after graduation? No" When Malveaux asked her several times during the interview if she would vote for Obama, she could not say yes...
And I was saying to myself, "She's right. She's absolutely right."
What else could I say? What else can I say?
•Schizophrenia Carmen
I watched the delegates in previous days and saw these lunatics
adding more buttons to their clothing...the buttons said OBAMA. Then
I see these SAME lunatics being interviewed as HILLARY supporters who
are at 5 out of 10 in support of NObama. After Hillary's speech these
people who were putting ever more buttons on themselves about
NObama, were saying they were 10 out of 10 for the NObama...whew!
Good thing
this isn't a FIXED selection, I mean election.
•MORE Birth Certificate Madness
Phillip Berg, the man that filed the court papers regarding Obama not being a natural born citizen
says he has within the last hour received confirmation that Obama was indeed adopted by Lolo
Soetoro and was an Indonesian citizen. He also has confirmation, Obama used the Indonesian
passport to go to Pakistan in 1981.
There is no record he revoked that citizenship and swore oath to this country.
Says he wants us to get ahold of any delegates to make Obama face this and step down ASAP before
he is nominated.
Says also believes (although he has yet to receive full disclosure of all case law - is working on
it) he may not even be eligible to be a US Senator.
Says he is 99.99% sure.
He says Repubs have this info but probably will not do anything until he is nominated.
•Not one media type has EVER asked
Has ANYONE in this ridiculous sycophant media ever ASKED why Hillary cannot have a legitimate roll call?
WHY have past candidates with FAR FEWER VOTES have gotten a full roll call, so what is their excuse for
not giving HER one?
THEY'RE AFRAID, THAT'S WHY - SHE MIGHT ACTUALLY WIN IF DELEGATES WERE ALLOWED TO VOTE THE
WAY THEY WANT TO AND A FULL ROLL CALL WAS HELD.
I mean, Gloria Allred wasn't even allowed to SPEAK. So they put on a dog and pony show of a fake roll call, stopping midway, or doing in secret ballot, the way I hear it.
And NO ONE in the media, among the thousands of media types present at the CONvention, ever asked WHY.
WE KNOW WHY. NObama KNOWS she would win. PERIOD. This is DEMOCRACY at work, people.
•Hillary Clinton skips mentioning Obama in a speech to supporters
She never spoke his name.
In a seven-minute speech to women supporters, Hillary Rodham Clinton urged voters to get behind “our nominees’’ but did not specifically mention her old rival, Barack Obama.
Clinton’s appearance in an outdoor courtyard here was a kind of time warp. Hundreds of supporters wore Clinton buttons and T-shirts and said they were heart-broken about her defeat in the Democratic primary. During the event, loudspeakers blared theme songs from her unsuccessful primary bid, including Tom Petty's "American Girl.''
She previewed the speech she is to deliver later tonight, saying, “I believe with all my heart that the Democratic Party represents a much better future for everything we believe in and care about and I will be making a very strong case tonight that we stand behind our nominees in order to keep pushing progress forward.’’
Clinton also made reference to a sore point during the primary: gender bias. Commending the hosts of the event, an organization called WomenCount, she said, “I urge all of you to support women running at all levels of government, but also on behalf of other concerns that were raised during the course of the campaign. WomenCount will continue to stand up against the pervasive bias we saw in the media.’’

•The latest outrages from the Crowning of Caesar CONvention Sharpton Warns Clintons: Be Nice to Obama This Week Or Else
The Rev. Al Sharpton has some strong words for the Clintons: put your full support behind Barack Obama this week, or risk damaging your legacy.
With the Democratic National Convention abuzz with anticipation over Hillary Clinton’s speech to it tonight, civil rights activist Al Sharpton says she and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, cannot afford anything less than an extraordinary effort to help Barack Obama’s presidential candidacy -– beginning this week with an intensified push for party loyalty.
Otherwise, Sharpton warned today, their reputations within the party -- once sterling -- could be permanently tarnished.
“It can damage their legacy in the long run if they don’t get a grip pretty quick,” Sharpton told The Times. [ Newsbusters ]
Nobama wants an abbreviated meaningless roll call
The Obama campaign is considering an abbreviated roll call Wednesday that would allow Democratic convention delegates in Hillary Rodham Clinton’s strongest states to support her — and is mulling a plan to let delegates vote by secret ballot, according to those familiar with the planning.
The shortened roll call, which would avoid a time-consuming state-by-state canvass, would be quickly followed by a motion for all the delegates to nominate Barack Obama for president by acclamation or, under another scenario, secret balloting. The deal could be announced as early as Tuesday night, the Democratic sources said.

Gloria Allred goes to CDP delegate breakfast wearing a gag in Clinton protest
DENVER -- Feminist attorney Gloria Allred was denied an opportunity to address the California Democratic Party at its morning breakfast meeting Tuesday, prompting the celebrity lawyer to wrap a red bandana across her face as a gag.
Following the meeting she suggested that the Democratic National Committee was not giving her candidate, Sen. Hillary Clinton, fair due during the convention. She called for the DNC to provide a full roll-call vote for the New York senator during tonight's first ballot process.
A least one sympathetic California delegate attended the meeting wearing a gas mask in protest.
CDP Chairman Art Torres acknowledged the longtime Democratic activist but was firm in her not being given time before the delegation.
"Gloria wanted to speak, but ... she's not," Torres said. "Let's give her a round of applause anyway."
•Police probe 'plot' to kill Obama
WASHINGTON (AP) — Three men who authorities feared were plotting to assassinate Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention are facing only gun charges — a signal that officials believe they never posed a real threat.
A federal law enforcement official in Denver said Tuesday the three men and woman arrested Sunday are not expected to be charged with making threatening statements, conspiracy or other national security-related crimes.
It's possible — but unlikely — that additional charges could come later, the official said.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because charges have not yet been filed. U.S. Attorney Troy Eid has said the suspects posed no credible threat to Obama, the convention or others in Denver.

•Clinton Teams to Keep Critics in Line
As party leaders look to heal the Democrats' lingering primary battle wounds from the podium, Sen. Hillary Clinton's staff has coordinated a floor team to quash anti-Obama disturbances in the convention hall tonight and help the party present a united front.
A woman sports a Hillary Clinton hat at the Democratic National Convention, where Sen. Barack Obama will become the official Democratic candidate for president.
Clinton's "whip team," led by longtime staffer Craig Smith, is approximately 40 members strong, composed of both Clinton and Obama delegates working in coordination with convention floor volunteers. The teams are dispatched to answer delegate questions, ensure that the appropriate signs are displayed and generally avoid any potentially embarrassing spontaneous expressions of opinion.
[snip]
The Clinton loyalists are visibly on display in Denver. Many still display Clinton campaign paraphernalia with unabashed pride, occasionally complaining at the souvenir stands that the New York senator's likeness isn't available alongside the Democratic National Convention's official Obama-Biden merchandise.
Marvin Wells, a 43-year-old delegate, said the convention organizers have ignored the fact that Clinton lost the primary by a narrow margin and treats Clinton supporters "like they don't exist." [ ABC ]

•McCain ahead 46% to 44% in Gallup daily poll Gallup - Gallup Daily: No Bounce for Obama in Post Biden Tracking
PRINCETON, NJ -- It's official: Barack Obama has received NO BOUNCE in voter support out of his selection of Sen.
Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate.
Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Aug. 23-25, the first three-day period falling ENTIRELY AFTER Obama's Saturday morning
vice presidential announcement, shows 46% of national registered voters backing John McCain and 44% supporting
Obama, not appreciably different from the previous week's standing for both candidates. This is the first time since
Obama clinched the nomination in early June, though, that McCain has held any kind of advantage over Obama in Gallup
Poll Daily tracking.

•NOW he wants the roll call OFF CAMERA and OFF SITE! The Denver Post
Supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton are furiously circulating petitions
on the floor of the Democratic National Convention tonight, hoping to
stave off a plan to hold the convention's roll call at breakfast Wednesday
-- out of the public eye -- sources inside the delegations say.
The move being worked out between the Obama campaign and officials
behind Clinton's suspended bid, would work in two parts: Delegates
would cast votes at their hotels Wednesday morning; that night, at the
Pepsi Center convention site, the roll-call process would RELY ON the
votes cast that morning, the delegates said.
The evening event would call on the delegation from Illinois, which Obama
serves as the junior senator, and then move to New York, which Clinton
represents.
After New York delegates applaud Clinton's long-fought and historic
candidacy, a motion would be made to accept the votes cast at breakfast.
The move is being resisted by some Clinton delegates, who are busy
tonight circulating a petition among delegates as the opening night of the
convention, titled "One Nation," gets underway.
•Why Democrats Won't Shut Up And Act Like Republicans Marc Rubin
Obama, Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi seem to have a big envy
problem. And their problem seems to be that Democrats simply aren't
Republicans. And wont shut up and act like them. They wish they would
because you can almost hear them thinking that's the way to win a
Presidential election since Republicans win most of them. But that has
more to do with Democratic Party ineptitude at the top, massive
miscalculation and incompetence and not really knowing what it takes
to win as well as being afraid to just trust being honest. Just what we
are seeing again. And, as Einstein has pointed out in his definition of
insanity, it will surely bring the same results.
Only this time there is something of a revolt going on with more than half
the party. And Obama, Dean, Pelosi, and Fowler can't understand it. They
think just because you're a Democrat you're supposed to shut up and go
along. But like everything else they think and do, they are being proved
wrong.
For almost 8 years George W Bush not only initiated policies and
judgments that visited the worst collection of man made catastrophe's
ever visited on the United States by one President, (yes including Katrina
which was made much worse because of the Bush administration's
ineptitude) he also violated every conservative and Republican principle
they have espoused for the last 150 years. And Republicans, for the most
part ( with a few exceptions) kept their mouths shut.In fact Rush
Limbaugh confessed after the Republicans lost congress that he was
relieved because he didn't have to carry water for the Republicans
anymore.
They were guilty of the worst thing a member of a political party can be
guilty of -- putting their party ahead of their country. And 8 years of the
Bush administration's policies shows how dangerous and destructive that
can be.
That is exactly what the leadership of the Democratic party now wants
from the party's majority who do not support Barack Obama. And they
don't ( or won't) understand that those who refuse to support Obama
are doing so because they are putting country and principle ahead of
party and will refuse to sanction the subversion of Democratic
principles that were the driving force behind the nominating process
both during the primaries and, seemingly, at the convention.
But what Howard Dean,Nancy Pelosi, Donna Brazile and other DNC
leaders wish is that those not supporting Obama would be more like
Republicans. Just keep your mouths shut and fall in line even if you
believe that the candidate they pushed is easily the worst candidate for
President in the history of the Democratic party, the weakest based on
the primary results, the most incompetent, underhanded, divisive and
the most dishonest, that the Democratic Party has ever offered.
And they expect ( or is it hope?) that more than 18 million people will just
forget all that and fall in line simply because they are Democrats. Did they
really expect that their incomprehensibly bad judgment which chose
Obama to be the nominee despite the outcome of the primaries would be
ratified just because they say so?
That events have proved the majority of Democrats who voted against
Obama right ( his serial lying, his reneging on pledges, reversing positions
and the triteness and shallowness of his mind put on display by his phony
Presidential seal not to mention his being landslided in the 13 biggest
states in the country) may or may not affect super delegates who will
actually decide the nomination on August 27. But if Obama is in fact the
nominee, the biggest thing Howard Dean and Obama will have to worry
about now is not the Republicans, but Democrats are not going to act like
Republicans. They are not going to support a candidate they not only
don't believe in but absolutely detest.
You don't support a candidate that you detest and have contempt for
because of his lack of scruples, honesty and integrity, and who you think
would be a disaster for the country just because the party hierarchy
wants you to. That is the stuff of the Politburo not the party of Jefferson.
The Democratic leadership ( a term which has become an oxymoron) still
thinks that for Clinton supporters it's sour grapes because their candidate
wasn't chosen by the party hierarchy to be the nominee. But maybe that's
because Clinton supporters have the quaint idea that it's who gets the
most votes and demonstrates who is the stronger candidate that ought
to determine who is the nominee.

•Clinton, Obama working on roll call deal
DENVER (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama are working on a deal to give her some votes in the presidential nomination roll call, but end the divided balloting quickly with a unanimous consent for Obama.
Democratic officials involved in the negotiations say the idea is that at the start of the state-by-state roll call Wednesday night, delegates would cast their votes for Clinton or Obama.
But the voting would be cut off after a couple states, perhaps ending with New York, when Clinton herself would call for a unanimous backing for Obama from the convention floor.
Oh please stop this stupid bullshit already. Are we supposed to be 4 year olds, held by the hand, with an Obamamoron saying, "Seeeeeeee, Hillary got her name mentioned". Notice has this story changes by the day, sometimes by the hour. First, her name WILL be put in nomination, then it's a gesture, then it's she will give up her delegates, NOW it's we'll stop after a few states, jump to NY, hurry UP for chrissake Barky's waiting, and get it over with.
Just how AFRAID of Hillary is this Empty Suit, anyhow? Plenty from the looks of it. And this is the way the Obamamorons feel they can 'win' Clinton supporters? Shove it, each and every one of you. I won't be watching ONE second of it. VOTE McCAIN and rid us of this poison!
•No Wonder Obama Moved His Acceptance Speech to Invesco Field Michael Barone
The Pepsi Center has almost no gallery seats; there seem to be skyboxes for big contributors, who will probably pay as little attention to what's happening on the floor as (in my experience, anyway) rich people in skyboxes pay to the games they're attending. The people who put together the convention presumably expected that the winning candidate would have swept the primaries and therefore would have chosen the large majority of the delegates. But it didn't work out that way. About 45 percent of the delegates were chosen by Hillary Clinton's campaign. Anecdotal evidence that I've picked up suggest that there are lot of Clinton delegates that are not reconciled to Barack Obama's nomination. That's one reason, I suggested to Joe Trippi (whom I first met when he was running Iowa for Mondale in 1983-84) and Jim Margolis (who has been the media producer for several Democratic presidential candidates), that the Obama campaign relocated his acceptance speech to the 72,000-seat Invesco Field. They didn't want to risk a lukewarm reception from nearly half the crowd in the Pepsi Center (it's hard to pack the galleries when there aren't any galleries). Trippi didn't disagree. Margolis, who is working on arrangements for the Obama campaign, said he was sure everything would go smoothly in the Pepsi Center. He may be right. We'll see.

•Drip by drip by drip H2
Now, in addition to the Gallup tracking poll, the CNN poll has Obama and McCain tied.
This poll was done after the Biden announcement -- so NO bump for Obama for picking Biden.
"This looks like a STEP BACKWARD for Obama, who had a 51 to 44 percent advantage last
month"
And, here's the BEST news of all ...
Sixty-six percent of Clinton supporters -- registered Democrats who want Clinton as the nominee -- are
now backing Obama. That's DOWN from 75 percent in the end of June. Twenty-seven percent of [Hillary
supporters] now say they'll support McCain, UP from 16 percent in late June.
So, Donna Brazile, I guess we're friggin' NOT "getting over it."
I'll "get over it" about 20 years AFTER I get over the U.S. Supreme Court handing the 2000 election to the dimwit Bush.
You can take THAT to the bank.
•VICE PRESIDENT HACK John LeBoutillier
Biden does not give them a state that they would not have already had. Thus he is like so many other recent - failed - Democrat Veep picks: Lloyd Bentsen, Geraldine Ferraro, Joe Lieberman and John Edwards. None of these selections helped their ticket gather those 270 Electoral votes - or the converse: kept their GOP opponents from getting to that magic number.
[snip]
The sycophants in the media - and the performance over the weekend was downright disgraceful as everyone inside the DC Beltway rushed forward to praise Biden. Where is the objectivity? Where is the balance? Where are stories about his alleged law school plagiarism as part of the 1987-1988 pattern of plagiarism? Where is a recounting of the brutal way he assaulted Judge Clarence Thomas?
No...no! Instead we are told how this life-long political blowhard and hack is the Third Coming (the Second is Obama himself). The fawning by the MSNBC Talking Heads was unbelievable!
How about some objectivity? How about the fact that, as a Catholic, he is pro-choice? Did anyone bother to mention that? No! All they said was that he is a Catholic and thus will help Obama in heavily Catholic states like Pennsylvania and Ohio. Oh, really? Do all Catholic go against Church doctrine? Hmmmm.... How come Biden - after years of campaigning and national TV appearances - could not get even one per cent of the vote in this year’s Iowa caucuses?

•Recent polls show McCain has locked up as much as 27% of Clintonistas GEOFF EARLE/DAPHNE RETTER/ANDY GELLER
Two new polls showed yesterday that John McCain has locked up as much as 27 percent of Hillary Rodham Clinton's supporters - and he's mounting a new offensive to win over even more.
This morning, McCain released an ad featuring a woman who says she was a Clinton supporter, because the senator has experience and judgment.
But then she holds up a McCain sign, saying she's voting for him because he also has experience and judgment. It's her first time voting for a Republican, a move she encourages other Clinton supporters to follow.
[Ed. Note: Some anti NObama blogs are saying they are not voting for or supporting McCain. Yes, it's a
hard thing to do, voting Republican for President. But here's your choice. Vote NObama, stay home,
cast a meaningless vote for Nader or vote McCain. The ONLY way out of those choices to ensure
NObama doesn't start measuring drapes for the Oval, is to vote McCain. Hasn't the past taught us
anything? All those votes for Nader in 2000...in Florida...just because people wanted to make a
statement. Out of that, we got Dimson. This is much too important of an election to 'make a
statement'. The statement you need to make is NOBAMA. And the ONLY way to achieve that is to vote
McCain. Watch the above ad a few times. Clinton Democrats, banished from their own party, told we
weren't needed in this election by Obamamorons, our candidate tossed into the gutter, even though she
WON, had more votes, had her delegates made into ˝ a person, marginalizied beyond belief, and NOW
they want us to vote for him?
Won't happen, CAN'T happen. Yes it's difficult to vote for a Republican. WE HEAR YOU. But I'd rather
take my chances on McCain, than be stuck with a lying, racist PIG who has insulted and trashed the
Clintons so horrifically, and does not have one iota of experience. When you get into that voting booth,
only you will know what you did. But please remember, a NO VOTE or a VOTE FOR NADER is as good as
voting for Barky.]
•Rendell: Obama coverage was embarrassing
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell was supposed to give “closing remarks” during this afternoon’s Shorenstein Center-sponsored panel discussion with all three Sunday show moderators — NBC’s Tom Brokaw, ABC’s George Stephanopoulous and CBS’s Bob Schieffer — but instead, he opened up a can of worms about bias in 2008 election coverage
"Ladies and gentleman, the coverage of Barack Obama was embarrassing," said Rendell, in the ballroom at Denver's Brown Palace Hotel. "It was embarrassing."
Rendell, an ardent Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter during the primaries, now backs Obama in the general election. Brokaw and Rendell began debating campaign coverage, including the on-air comments by Lee Cowan, and when MSNBC came up, Rendell went after the cable network.
“MSNBC was the official network of the Obama campaign," Rendell said, who called their coverage "absolutely embarrassing."
Chris Matthews, Rendell said, "loses his impartiality when he talks about the Clintons.”
At that point, PBS's Judy Woodruff, who was moderating the moderators event, said: "Why don’t we let Governor Rendell sit down."
That was met with applause from the crowd of big-time media figures, which included Arianna Huffington, Gwen Ifill, Al Hunt, and Chuck Todd.
Woodruff allowed Brokaw to respond, and in defending the network, he said that Matthews and Keith Olbermann are "not the only voices" on MSNBC.

•BREAKING: Clinton expected to release delegates Wednesday
Hillary Clinton to release her delegates on
Wednesday. They will not have to vote for her. They describe Hillary
as gracious in this move.
Oh Hillary, what have they done to you? They may try to control us at the CONvention, but they cannot control us in the voting booth.
NOBAMA!
•Like a dog beaten many times... Clintonian
We are now supposed to cower and go along. We are supposed to be good little Dems and get
onboard and wave our signs and balloons, and be ALL for the Party.
You must have heard by now how the CONvention is going to pull us together, bring unity to the Party,
make us all sway back and forth singing Kumbaya.
Even though. The DNC and NObama and his band of merry thugs have made sure Hillary
Clinton the entire Clinton family and legacy is so marginalized, that one is not even supposed
to recall there WAS a Clinton Administration.
Jamming her in with God knows how many others speakers, reducing her to 'another speaker on
Tuesday', even though she garnered the popular vote in the Primaries, having cages set up for any
Clinton supporters who may DARE question the Gestapo like tactics of this CONvention, as in, hold up a
Hillary sign, and set up a different arena full to the brim of Obamamorons, to make sure no unruly, testy
Clinton supporters can voice their opinion or GOD HELP THEM, show support for the candidate who won
the vote of the PEOPLE.
I'm damn mad at the DNC for many, many reasons.
Stealing the nomination away from Hillary, giving her delegates to someone who didn't have his name
on the ballot, tossing out Clinton delegates and making them NObama delegates while giving absurd
and psychotic reasons like they have a gender quota, but I am also mad and raging because they took
away from me something I have looked forward to like a kid at Christmas as far back as I can remember.
The Convention.
I can remember being only 17, being forced to vacation with my parents. They went out on the town. I
opted to stay in the hotel room and watch the Convention. No matter how sad and pathetic the Dem
ticket was, I watched with reckless glee, excitement and wonder. Being such a political animal, this was
heaven to me. But never was it such a gift, such nirvana, such a over-the-top bundle of joy, as it was in
1992.
There was Bill and Hillary and a very young Chelsea. SO proud, SO overwhelmed, SO happy, SO joyous.
And then we got him again in 1996. Happy Birthday to me.
Now? The DNC has become everything, and worse, they have always accused the RNC of being. I am
now ashamed to be connected with it, hence my departure after 30+ years of being a proud Dem,
wearing my "dyed in the wool Dem" hat. For reasons that still remain unclear to me, except that they
are psychologically obsessed with hatred for the Clintons, they are ramming a no-experience, lying racist
down everyone's throat and pushing him forward and upward onto a pedestal. A con artist, who had
his thugs work their NObama tactics at the caucuses to secure the Clinton ballots and make sure they
saw the inside of a dumpster, repeatedly labeled the Clintons card carrying members of the KKK, and
cheated and bullied his way to Denver.
All I read on blogs/articles written by Obamamorons is how self aggrandizing the Clintons are, how
self-entitled they are, how over the top they are, how self-absorbed they are. Pardon the hell out of
ME, but aren't they describing their Plastic Jesus? Never has a candidate made his own Presidential
seal, when they weren't even the nominee yet, never has a candidate MOVED Party headquarters to his
corrupt little town, never has a candidate arranged to have their speech held in a different arena than
the CONvention simply to be surrounded with adoring cultists with no interference from supporters of
the true winner, never has a candidate had designers make t shirts, bags and the like because he is just
so friggin' special. There simply are few walking this green Earth who are as self-absorbed,
self-contained, self-consumed and have such a psychotic obsession with self as NObama. For WHAT
reason, only he knows, because it sure ain't his intellect, experience, governing abilities, knowledge of
foreign OR domestic policy. He is a true walking breathing living definition of megalomania. And we
thought Bush was nuts.
So the first time since I was about 12 or so, I will not be enjoying and watching every second of the
CONvention. In fact, I will only watch Hillary and Bill. Then the whole place can be washed away by a
tidal wave, with all of them in it, as far as I'm concerned.
So, yes, I'm damn mad at the DNC over their NObama obsession but I'm also damn mad at them for
taking way my Party. I didn't leave the DNC, it left me.
•Obama fails to list 'Barry Soetoro'
Obama failed to list the name "Barry Soetoro" on his Illinois ARDC (Attorney's Registration and Disciplinary Record), which was signed under oath with a penalty of perjury.
•Florida and Michigan are getting full votes now at the
convention
Of COURSE! Now that they're needed for NObama. Hillary couldn't get
them because she would have went AHEAD. It was ALL planned. Do they
not see how OBVIOUS they are making themselves? They just don't care, they're as arrogant and pompous as NObama.
Remember Obamamorons said they don't need us, which is a good thing
since we won't be voting for them. [ FOX News ]
•Who says the Dems don't care?? Uppity Woman
Ah the party of the poor, the weak, the downtrodden! The Caring Party, who wants to help the poor!
The Party of The People!
The party who nurtures the poor, unfortunate and affected!
The Democratic Party!
They care!
They care for all the unfortunates, especially the Homeless in Denver. They care to ensure that
they won't have to look at them and get all yucky and offended. They don't, after all, want
to be embarrassed by all those dirty street people. So, they have arranged Free Haircuts.
Yes, that's what I said. Free. Haircuts. No Kidding. You can't make this shit up.
In this way, should one of them be wandering around when Barack Obama and his entourage are
preening and prancing around Denver, the poor and homeless will at least look better to them.
Pesky homeless! Pesky I tell you!
But Barack Obama and our party Leaders aren't ALL bad. No sir. They wanted to help the
Homeless by getting them off the streets. Not because they Offend, mind you, but because they
Care. So, they arranged for Free Bingo Games and movie tickets and temporary housing - even
museum tickets!- to keep them off the streets during the convention. Brings a tear to your eye
doesn't it?
Last month The Ticket wrote that officials in Denver, worried about the impression
that 50,000 visitors to the Democratic National Convention would get next week,
were planning to hide the estimated 4,000 homeless people who hang around the
city's downtown area.
They arranged for free movie passes and bingo games to get them off the street, as
well as temporary housing and free tickets to the zoo and Museum of Nature and
Science.
I'm sure homeless people are very pre-occupied with tickets to the zoo and Museum of Nature,
don't you?
Anyways, Once the convention is over, the dirty things can just go back to the streets and be
grateful that at least they got themselves a haircut this year, compliments of Barack Obama and
the Party Of The Poor.
God bless our Democratic Party and Barack Obama! This is just one more reason I am so proud to
be a Democrat this year. They really Care!
•McCain Standing for HRC at 3 am
•Obama Not Strong, Not Ready. Just Ask His V.P. Michael Eden
Supposedly Joe Biden will bolster the foreign policy cred of a kid who clearly isn't ready for prime time.
But there are problems, oh so many problems.
Ben Porrit, McCain spokesman, was able to point out the biggest one. During the primaries as a candidate
for president:
"Biden has denounced Barack Obama's poor foreign policy judgment and has
strongly argued in his own words what Americans are quickly realizing - that Barack
Obama is not ready to be President."
What we're going to see is a whitewashing of that record. But let me just quickly demonstrate that the
McCain camp is telling the truth.
But The Associated Press story is, [ Biden pick shows lack of confidence ].
So apparently at some level Obama agrees with Joe Biden and John McCain that he just isn't really ready.
Beyond the fact that Biden is angry, he's arrogant, he thinks he knows everything, he's condescending, he's
aggressive and bullying, he says one stupid thing after another, and he absolutely positively will not shut his
mouth, his foreign policy credentials actually serve to actually denounce Obama's own puny record. That
can't be good.
Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) Reaffirmed That Obama Was Not Ready To Be Commander In Chief. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos: “You were asked is he ready. You said ‘I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.’” Sen. Biden: “I think that I stand by the statement.” (ABC’s “This Week,” 8/19/07)
Sen. Biden: “Having talking points on foreign policy doesn’t get you there.” (”Biden Lashes Out At Obama,” ABC News’ “Political Radar” Blog, blogs.abcnews.com, 8/2/07)
•Oh I get it....
Cute and snappy, Barky! Sending out their who-gives-a-rats-ass text message at 3am is yet another
jab at Hillary.
I get it. Not only has he further insulted her by jamming her in with 4 million other speakers Tuesday
night, but never sought even her opinion on a VP, but now jabs her in eye once again by sending
his stupid text out
[Ed. Note: Hey Barky, buy a clue, will ya? We knew at 10:50pm Friday night]
at 3am, making it - all together now - the 3am phone call! Oiy.
Megalomaniac doesn't even scratch the surface of how egotistical and self consumed this know nothing
racist pig is. Seriously.
And has there ever been a weaker ticket for President? Save Maybe Dukakis/Bentsen 88 or Dole/Kemp
96? Although, Bentsen did have that immortal fabulous line--
"Senator," he said, "I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was
a friend of mine. Senator, you are no Jack Kennedy."
This ticket is laughable. A) Bottom heavy, the see-through lying racist who doesn't know thing ONE
about ANYTHING on top, B) a VP candidate who cannot stop inserting foot in mouth, flies off the handle
for any reason, endeared himself to women everywhere by trying to make a fool of Anita Hill, AND AND
said NObama was not qualified to be POTUS. Oh and also, his SON had Larry Sinclair yanked off the
streets and thrown in jail for no reason, other than opening his mouth about NObama.
Maybe this is payback to Biden for that little favor his son did for Barky.
Good Ol' Dems.
Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory. We Never Met An Election We Wanted To Win. Why get
elected when you can be defeated! We enjoy being on the bottom.
Take your pick.
We'll take OUR pick.
McCain and WHOMEVER 08
•Tax Evaders in Glass Houses...
So Barky wants to make a big thing out of McCain's 'houses". I bet McCain pays his taxes and didn't get his 'houses' from a criminal in a shady deal. So let's talk 'houses', Barky.
Washington, D.C. (AHN) - The back-and-forth banter between Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Barack Obama (D-IL) continued late Thursday as a second TV ad, now from McCain, revived the controversy surrounding Obama's ties with disgraced lobbyist Tony Rezko.
"Barack Obama knows a lot about housing problems," an announcer says in the 30-second ad titled "Housing Problem." "One of his 'biggest fundraisers' helped him buy his million-dollar mansion. Purchasing part of the property he couldn't afford."
"From Obama, Rezko got 'political favors' including '14 million from taxpayers.' Now, he's a convicted felon, facing jail. That's a housing problem," the announcer adds.
•‘Just Words’ That Joe Biden Would Like To Forget The curse of a loose mouth and Nexis - Jim Geraghty
The fun thing about an Obama-Biden ticket is that the McCain campaign can point to a new awkward comment by Joe Biden — either on the importance of experience, in praise of McCain, or in support of invading Iraq — that contradicts the stands and qualities of the Democratic nominee for every day from now until Election Day.
On McCain:
Biden, on a post-debate appearance on MSNBC, October 30, 2007: “The only guy on the other side who’s qualified is John McCain.”
Biden appearing on The Daily Show, August 2, 2005: “John McCain is a personal friend, a great friend, and I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off, be well off no matter who...”
On Meet the Press, November 27, 2005: “I’ve been calling for more troops for over two years, along with John McCain and others subsequent to my saying that.”
On Obama:
Reacting to an Obama speech on counterterrorism, August 1, 2007: “‘Look, the truth is the four major things he called for, well, hell that’s what I called for,’ Biden said today on MSNBC’s Hardball, echoing comments he made earlier in the day at an event promoting his book at the National Press Club. Biden added, ‘I’m glad he’s talking about these things.’”
Also that day, the Biden campaign issued a release that began, “The Biden for President Campaign today congratulated Sen. Barack Obama for arriving at a number of Sen. Biden’s long-held views on combating al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan.” That release mocked Obama for asking about the “stunning level of mercury in fish” and asked about a proposal for the U.S. adopt a ban on mercury sales abroad at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.
Assessing Obama’s Iraq plan on September 13, 2007: “My impression is [Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany” of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. “I’ve seen zero evidence of that.”
Speaking to the New York Observer: Biden was equally skeptical — albeit in a slightly more backhanded way — about Mr. Obama. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Also from that Observer interview: “But — and the ‘but’ was clearly inevitable — he doubts whether American voters are going to elect ‘a one-term, a guy who has served for four years in the Senate,’ and added: ‘I don’t recall hearing a word from Barack about a plan or a tactic.’”
Around that time, Biden in an interview with the Huffington Post, he assessed Obama and Hillary Clinton: “The more people learn about them (Obama and Hillary) and how they handle the pressure, the more their support will evaporate.”
December 11, 2007: “If Iowans believe campaign funds and celebrity will fix the debacle in Iraq, put the economy on track, and provide health care and education for America’s children, they should support another candidate,” said Biden for President Campaign Manager Luis Navarro. “But I’m confident that Iowans know what I know: our problems will require experience and leadership from Day One. Empty slogans will be no match for proven action on caucus night.”
Also that night, Biden said in a campaign ad, “When this campaign is over, political slogans like ‘experience’ and ‘change’ will mean absolutely nothing. The next president has to act.”
September 26, 2007: Biden for President Campaign Manager Luis Navarro said, “Sen. Obama said he would do everything possible to end the war in Iraq and emphasized the need for a political solution yet he failed to show up to vote for Sen. Biden’s critical amendment to provide a political solution in Iraq.
December 26, 2006: “Frankly, I think I’m more qualified than other candidates, and the issues facing the American public are all in my wheelbarrow.”

•And the WINNER LOSER is.... Joe Biden
ABC reports Secret Service on their way to Biden home - Fri., Aug. 22 - 11pm EST.
The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.
MORE sympathetic we could not be. You've hitched your wagon to a liar and racist, who has not one whit of experience to even be a Senator, let alone anything 'above that pay grade'.
GOD help you and what will be left of your career.

•FactCheck.org Has New Birth Certificate Story From TexasDarlin
Well, well. I was wondering when this “story” was going to “break” now that Obama has returned from Hawaii. What a coincidence that it’s today, because we just pointed out that Factcheck.org has a conflict of interest in covering Barack Obama because they are owned by The Annenberg Foundation. And now they have published a new “fight the smears” story about Obama’s Certificate of Live Birth (COLB).
They have a photo of “Factcheck representatives” holding the COLB, and close-ups of the certificate number, stamps, and seal.
Before we go any further, let me stop to say this: YES, I also believe that Obama was born in the USA. I also believe that the Obama COLB reflects his original birth certificate. Read this blog. The issues are multiple citizenships and identities, the status of his current citizenship, updated birth certificates, etc., not to mention his lack of transparency.

•Obama is sinking ... we need 1,000 kazoos H2
Let's send 1,000 kazoos to the Hillary delegates for the Convention.
When reading the polls, it's important to keep in mind that the total number of votes each
candidate gets is LESS important than WHERE he gets them.
The presidency is decided by the electoral vote, and whoever gets 270 electoral votes wins.
We have only to recall that Al Gore won 500,000 more votes than Bush did, but Bush got to the
White House. (Yes ... yes ... I know ... it was the U.S. Supreme Court that gave that election to
Bush ... no need to remind me.)
The point is that four presidents have gotten to the White House in spite of NOT winning the
popular vote (in 1824, 1876, 1888 and 2000).
This is all by way of giving you a link to the Rasmussen reports rundown on the state totals and
the electoral votes involved.
The latest numbers from the Rasmussen Reports Balance
of Power Calculator show Obama leading in states with 193
Electoral College votes and McCain ahead in states with 183
Electoral College votes. Previously, Obama had enjoyed a
210–165 advantage.
Obama is sinking, and the word has spread among the Obama-loving
media whores that if Obama loses the election (assuming he gets the
nomination in Denver), the media will BLAME HILLARY for Obama's loss.
Yes, that's right ... if Obama loses, it will be all "Hilary's fault."
I am already reading articles that are establishing that mind-set.
P.S. I would donate to anyone who will provide the Hillary supporters at
the Convention with 1,000 kazoos.
Let the word go forth, Obama is terrified that Hillary's supporters at the
Convention will make noise in support of Hillary.
Folks, the Democratic Party convention is NOT a prayer vigil. It is -- and
always has been -- a rollicking, noisy affair where a candidate's
supporters make as much noise as they can to show support for their
candidate.
But, the Obama thugs have a plan ... (get this) they will send people to
stand in front of the kazoo-blowers so the kazoo-blowers cannot be seen.
Do they forget Kazoos make a noise -- and noises cannot be eliminated
by putting a person with a sign in front of them!
•Contracts Went to a Longtime Donor Joe Stephens - WashPo
Two years ago, the office of Michelle Obama, the vice president for
community relations at the University of Chicago Medical Center, published
a glossy report detailing the improvements her office had made in the
lives of local residents, in part by increasing ties to minority contractors.
Center administrators declined to disclose which businesses benefited;
the report lists one -- Blackwell Consulting Services.
In 2005, the center expanded its bidding process and invited African
American businessman Robert Blackwell Sr. to join a competition
